Please share your experience in Tata Football Academy and with UAE Pro Club League.
ROBIN: I was inducted into the Tata football academy after I was thrown out of the chandigarh football academy stating that I didn’t have what it takes to be a footballer, that’s where I took up the challenge of proving them wrong. My days at TFA were filled with a lot of learning and a lot of hard work hoping one day that it would pay off. It is also from where I got the opportunity to play and train with a club in U.A.E which was also a learning phase from where I had learnt a lot of positives which I tried to bring into my game and since then I have never looked back by god’s grace.
How has been the experience so far at the international level?
ROBIN: The experience has been great this far, but I’ve just started. I want to achieve a lot more. The dream for me has just begun and I don’t want to stop.
What advice will you like to give to young footballers?
ROBIN: I’d like to ask them firstly to work hard and dream big. Then I’d like to tell them that do not let education take a back seat, the both should go hand in hand. An intelligent man is also an intelligent footballer. Also, diet is very important as today’s football is very physical and being strong will only give you an extra edge physically and mentally.
Any last minute thoughts.
ROBIN: I’d like to thank you guys for the feature I wish you also the best in your future endeavors and also I’d like to thank everyone who’s supported me and had faith in my abilities this far. I wish all the best to all the young footballer’s out there in the making. KEEP RISING AND KEEP SHINING.
