It is the first and foremost question that comes to the mind before taking part in a marathon. Running for a marathon is completely different from running. A marathon is a long event. You have to do a lot of things as a part of the preparation. The essential things that you might forget to carry are Photo ID, Phone Charger, iPod, and headphones. The basics things that you need to execute requires a clear and focused mind. Know what you need to do? Execute your plans. Give yourself a mental break. Take proper sleep ahead of a marathon race. Start running slow and then try to generate pace slowly and gradually. Make sure that to take walk breaks every 10 minutes.
This life is like a swimming pool. You dive into the pool but cannot see how deep it is.

It was an innings of sheer determination and patience. Mohammed Kaif and Yuvraj Singh produced their best in the Natwest Series Final. India had lost their 5 wickets for just 146 runs while chasing a total of 326 in 50 overs. Mohammed Kaif (87*) and Yuvraj Singh 69 runs helped India develop a partnership of 121 runs for the sixth wicket. It set the tone for team India to win their first series against England. The match went close as Yuvraj departed the 42nd over Kaif guided team India to victory in the final held at Lord’s.

- What age did you start playing badminton? How did your parents support you in taking up this sport professionally?
ANSWER: I started playing badminton at the age of 10. Well, I was an athlete before I took badminton very seriously. My events was 100m and 200m. and I used to play badminton just for fun with my father. And I liked the sport very much and started taking part in the tournament. One day my 100m final and my U-13 singles final was at the same time. So, my parents decided to leave 100m and play the final of singles. And I did so, and lost the finals. And if I would have ran the 100m I would have won it easily. But you know, failure is the first step of success.. And from then on I just continued with badminton. It was my parents decision so I get full support from my family.
